What you can (and can't) view.
You can view & download
- Active stories from public accounts — both photos and videos
- Story highlights saved on public profiles
- Reels, posts, and public photos
- Full-size profile pictures
You can't view
- Stories from private accounts — no tool can bypass Instagram's approval
- Close Friends stories, shown only to the owner's hand-picked list
- Expired stories, once they're older than 24 hours and gone from Instagram
- Direct messages or any private, non-story content
ViewIGStory only accesses content Instagram already makes public. It can't unlock private accounts, reveal Close Friends stories, or bring back a story once it has expired — anyone promising otherwise isn't being honest. If an account is public, you can view and download everything above anonymously, with no login and no trace.

Instagram story viewer FAQ
Is it really anonymous?
Yes — you leave zero trace. ViewIGStory fetches stories without your credentials or identity, so you never appear in the account owner's story viewers list.
Do I need an Instagram account?
No — no account, login, or registration is required. Just type the public username and view their stories instantly.
Can I view private Instagram accounts?
No — private stories cannot be viewed by any anonymous tool. ViewIGStory works only with public accounts; private content is protected by Instagram and needs the owner's approval to see.
Can I download stories?
Yes — both photos and videos, in full original quality. Click the download button on any story in the viewer to save it to your device.
How much does it cost?
It's free — you get free story views every day at no cost. When you need more, unlimited access for the next 24 hours is a one-time $1.99, with no account and no subscription.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — if we couldn't show the stories you paid for, email yaroshepta.b@gmail.com and we'll refund you in full. Access is a one-time 24-hour unlock with no subscription, so you're never billed again.
How long does it take?
Under 10 seconds. Type the username, click Scan, and every active story appears almost instantly — no waiting.
What can I view and download?
All currently active stories from a public account — both photo and video stories — ready to view and download in full quality.
Is it safe to use?
Yes — ViewIGStory never asks for your Instagram credentials, stores no personal data, and uses 256-bit SSL encryption on every request.
What is ViewIGStory?
ViewIGStory is an online tool that lets you view and download public Instagram stories anonymously. Unlike Instagram itself, ViewIGStory never reveals your identity to the account owner — your username does not appear in their story viewers list. No login or Instagram account is required.
How to View Instagram Stories Anonymously
To view an Instagram story anonymously: (1) Go to ViewIGStory, (2) type the public Instagram username into the search field, (3) click Scan Stories Now. All active stories load within 10 seconds. The account owner is never notified of your visit.
Instagram Story Downloader
ViewIGStory doubles as a full Instagram story downloader. Both photo stories and video stories can be saved to your device in original quality. Simply open the story gallery, click the download icon on any item, and the file saves directly to your device.
Anonymous Instagram Story Viewer — No Account Needed
Most Instagram story viewer tools require you to log in with an Instagram account, which defeats the purpose of staying anonymous. ViewIGStory requires zero credentials. Your IP is never shared with Instagram, and no cookies or tracking data are stored after your session.
